Studio Policy Quick Guide
Taking online lessons is a combination of the following: Interactive videos, customized lesson assignments, face to face zoom time, music apps for learning theory, recording, performing, and more!
Student's have 18 Zoom lessons per Semester.
The cost for online lessons is $50 for 30 min, $75 for 45 min, $100 for 60 min. Tuition is paid in full at the beginning of each semester or using a payment plan.
Live lessons will not be made up if there is a time conflict, a recorded lesson will take its place.
Materials and method books are purchased by the student or parent.
Performances and recordings are a high priority. Students should make every opportunity to participate in online recitals at the end of each semester.

November 25-29: No Lessons for Thanksgiving
December 23-January 3: No Lessons for Holiday Break
January 3: Fall Semester Lessons End
Spring Semester 2025
February 3: Spring Semester Lessons Begin
April 14-18: No Lessons for Spring Break
June 13: Spring Semester Lessons End
Lesson tuition, payment, and missed lessons
Private individual lessons are provided on a weekly basis for 30 or 45 minutes.
Tuition is based on two semesters per school year with 18 lessons for each semester (Fall & Spring). The studio runs much like a private school where tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance, reserving each student’s exclusive lesson day/time throughout the semester, whether he/she attends lessons or not. It is not the teacher’s responsibility to reschedule a lesson if he/she has a conflict with another activity. A student who does not attend a lesson will simply miss the benefit of that lesson. Your tuition reserves your weekly time slot and benefits within the studio. Please give as much notice as possible when canceling a lesson.
Tuition payments will be made through my fons account and with the option of paying in full or a payment plan. I will send you a link to create an account and automate payments if applicable.
Discontinuation of Lessons
To discontinue lessons, the student must provide at least one month’s advance written notice. If the student does not provide one month’s advance written notice, the student shall be liable for one month’s tuition in full, even if no lessons are provided that month.
I reserve the right to discontinue lessons for any reason. If I decide to terminate lessons, tuition will be prorated up to the last lesson taken and a refund provided, if applicable. The reasons for discontinuation may be:
Persistent absences/tardiness
Excessive requests for scheduling changes
Lack of progress due to insufficient practice
Uncooperative attitude or general dislike of lessons
